Neural Network Based Optimal Control With Constraits, International Journal "Information Theories and Applications", Vol.14, page 265-270, 2007, Download Publication

Abstract:

In the present paper the problems of the optimal control of systems when constraints are imposed on the control is considered. The optimality conditions are given in the form of Pontryagin's maximum principle. The obtained piecewise linear function is approximated by using feedforward neural network. A numerical example is given.

Automated System for Effective Internet Marketing Campaign (ASEIMC), International Journal "Information Technologies and Knowledge" Vol.2, page 391-394, 2008 Download Publication

Abstract:

The purpose of the paper is to present an automated system for realization of effective internet marketing campaign (ASEIMC). The constantly growing number of websites available online brings more problems for the contemporary enterprises to reach their potential customers. Therefore the companies have to discover novel approaches to increase their online sales. The presented ASEIMC system gives such an approach and helps small and medium enterprises to compete for customers with big corporations in the Internet space.

The Strategical Impact of Knowledge Markets and Knowledge Management for Small and Medium Enterprises, International Journal "Information Technologies and Knowledge" Vol.2, page 290-292, 2008 Download Publication

Abstract:

According to the rapidly changing environment small and medium enterprises constantly need to adapt their strategies and activities. The transition from the industrial economy to knowledge-based economy results in the increasing of the volume of the available information. Therefore knowledge markets are needed and innovation centers have to be developed. An effective knowledge management system helps small and medium enterprises to overcome their disadvantages and compete with big corporations. The review of current developments in the field of knowledge markets is also made.

Text-to-text Machine Translation System (TTMT System) – a Novel Approach for Language Engineering, Proceeding of Fourth International Conference I.TECH 2006, Varna, Bulgaria, page 112-116, 2006, Download Publication

Abstract:

The purpose of the current paper is to present the developed methodology for automatic machine translation. As a result the Text-to-Text Machine Translation System (TTMT System) is designed. The TTMT System is developed as hybrid architecture, combining different machine translation approaches. The included languages in the base version are English, Russian, German and Bulgarian. The TTMT System is designed as a universal polyglot. The architecture of the system is highly modular and allows other languages easy to be included. It uses a digital script and method for communication.

Neural Network Based Approach for Developing the Enterprise Strategy, International Journal "Information Theories and Applications", Vol.13, page 139-144, 2006, Download Publication

Abstract:

Modern enterprises work in highly dynamic environment. Thus, the developing of company strategy is of crucial importance. It determines the surviving of the enterprise and its evolution. Adapting the desired management goal in accordance with the environment changes is a complex problem. In the present paper, an approach for solving this problem is suggested. It is based on predictive control philosophy. The enterprise is modelled as a cybernetic system and the future plant response is predicted by a neural network model. The predictions are passed to an optimization routine, which attempts to minimize the quadratic performance criterion.

Viable Model of the Enterprise – a Cybernetic Approach for Implementing the Information Technologies in Management, International Journal "Information Theories and Applications", Vol.13, page 337-340, 2006, Download Publication

Abstract:

The purpose of the current paper is to present the developed methodology of viable model based enterprise management, which is needed for modern enterprises to survive and growth in the information age century. The approach is based on Beer's viable system model and uses it as a basis of the information technology implementation and development. The enterprise is viewed as a cybernetic system which functioning is controlled from the same rules as for every living system.

Extended Executive Information System (EEIS), International Journal "Information Theories and Applications", Vol.11, page 394-400, 2004, Download Publication

Abstract:

In the following paper a new class of executive information system is suggested. It is based on a selforganization in management and on a module modeling. The system is multifunctional and multidisciplinary. The structure elements of the system and the common features of the modules are discussed.
